Jayce Barfield
Meet Jayce Barfield: Owner and Operator of Suds Detailing
Every great business begins with a vision, an unrelenting work ethic, and an unshakeable passion for the craft. For Suds Detailing, that vision belongs to Jayce Barfield, the founder, owner, and hands-on operator behind one of the region’s premier auto detailing and window tinting destinations. Under Jayce’s dedicated leadership, Suds Detailing has built a reputation grounded in uncompromising quality, transparent service, and genuine care for every vehicle that enters the shop.
A Passion Grounded in Professional Experience
Jayce’s journey in the automotive world started long before he opened his own shop doors. Driven by a deep love for fine automobiles, he spent three years honing his skills as a professional detail technician at a busy dealership. During those formative years, Jayce learned the intricate nuances of automotive care—from surface preparation and interior conditioning to high-end finish restoration. He mastered the technical precision required to work on diverse makes and models, gaining real-world experience that laid a solid foundation for his future enterprise.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to deliver a higher standard of service than typical volume shops provided, Jayce took a bold leap of faith and founded Suds Detailing when he was just 20 years old. Turning a lifelong passion into a flourishing business at such a young age required sheer determination, tireless effort, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, qualities that continue to define his approach today.
Advanced Certifications & Technical Mastery
For Jayce, automotive detailing and window tinting are art forms supported by science. Refusing to rely solely on trial and error, he actively pursued formal training across the country to refine his skills. Jayce holds elite industry certifications earned in both Florida and California, home to some of the most competitive and advanced automotive care markets in the world.
Through these rigorous training programs, Jayce mastered cutting-edge tint installation techniques, advanced paint correction methods, and precision protective application strategies. This extensive education ensures that Suds Detailing operates at the absolute forefront of industry standards, bringing state-of-the-art care and long-lasting protection to every client’s vehicle.
Specialized Expertise in Precision Window Tinting
While Suds Detailing provides comprehensive automotive care, Jayce’s primary area of expertise lies in precision window tinting. Recognizing that window tinting serves both aesthetic and functional purposes—from blocking harmful UV rays and reducing interior heat to providing privacy and sleek style, Jayce has perfected the art of flawless installation.
Whether performing automotive window tinting, residential installations, or commercial building projects, Jayce applies meticulous care to every cut and seal. Backed by industry-leading warranties and executed with top-grade materials, his window tinting solutions stand as a benchmark of excellence across the St. Clair County area.
Industry Reputation & Professional Relationships
As the leader of Suds Detailing, Jayce takes immense pride in building strong, lasting connections within the local community and the broader automotive industry. His dedication to honest pricing, reliable scheduling, and flawless results has earned him an outstanding reputation among clients and fellow industry professionals alike.
Jayce collaborates closely with trusted automotive brands, suppliers, and peer experts to stay aligned with emerging product technology and industry trends. These strong professional relationships enable Suds Detailing to continuously deliver superior products, lifetime warranty coverage on tinting services, and an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Life Beyond the Shop: Family, Hobbies, & The Shop Dog
When he isn’t perfecting a vehicle's finish or applying precision window films, Jayce is a devoted family man who values quality time with his loved ones. True to his roots, his passion for automobiles extends well beyond working hours. You will often find him attending local car shows, appreciating custom builds, and connecting with fellow car enthusiasts.
Jayce also enjoys unwinding on the golf course and loves traveling to explore new places and cultures. And if you drop by the Suds Detailing shop, you’re likely to get a warm welcome from another key member of the team: Jayce’s beloved dog, who spends his days in the shop working right alongside the crew and brightening everyone’s day.
